Born on April 4, 1934, in Youngstown, Ohio, Elizabeth was the daughter of the late James and Jessie Casey. Her early education began at St. Stephen School before she went on to graduate from Niles McKinley High School in the Class of 1952. Elizabeth had a dynamic career, notably as the head cashier at Loblaws grocery store, where she met the love of her life, Raymond A. Budrevich.
A Love That Lasted
Raymond and Elizabeth tied the knot on May 14, 1955, and enjoyed 64 wonderful years of marriage until his passing on October 11, 2019. Affectionately called “Lilly” by Raymond, she was a spirited partner by his side. The couple shared a love for polka music, dancing through life together, and embarked on adventurous travels to places like Las Vegas, the Caribbean, and various casinos with friends.
Community Connections
Elizabeth was a proud member of the Happy Chatter Club for over 50 years, where she forged invaluable friendships and made countless joyful memories. Later in her career, she worked at Puggy’s Place and Hills Department Store, cementing her reputation as a friendly face in the community.

Beyond her professional life, Elizabeth was a devoted Cleveland Browns fan who rarely missed a game. Her family was also at the center of her world. She also cherished her stepdaughter, Roseanne (Steve) Mitsuhashi, who resides in Fort Worth, Texas. Her brother, James (Mary Ann) Casey, of Niles, along with seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren, will carry on her legacy.

Elizabeth was preceded in death by her siblings, including sisters Doris Brabant, Eileen Carr, and others, as well as brothers Thomas, David, and Charles Casey. Her family expressed immense gratitude to the staff at Aventura at Humility House and Harmony Hospice Care for their compassionate care during Elizabeth’s stay.
Final Farewell
In honor of her remarkable life, funeral services will be held at Kinnick Funeral Home on April 14, 2025. Friends and family are invited to call from 3 to 5 p.m. on April 13, followed by the funeral service at 11 a.m. on April 14, with interment at Kerr Cemetery in Mineral Ridge.
