KILL DEVIL HILLS, N.C. — A quartet that mixes harp, cello, piano and a lead singer will take the stage in Kill Devil Hills, N.C., next weekend when Sons of Serendip plays the latest show in the Lively Arts series run by the Outer Banks Forum.

The show is set for 7 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 7, at First Flight High School, inside its David E. Oaksmith Auditorium. That hall is home base for the forum, which stages its full season of concerts there each year.

The group reached the finals of America’s Got Talent and has landed on Billboard charts. Its sound takes familiar pop songs and reworks them with classical training plus touches of jazz and blues, which the forum’s program director, Jay Tutwiler, described as music that calms the spirit. Listeners should expect well-known contemporary songs reshaped into arrangements built around the harp and cello, with the piano and the singer filling out each tune.

Forum president Carl Curnutte said the organization is thrilled to bring the ensemble to the beach.

The concert is one stop on the forum’s 2026-27 lineup, which it bills as Legends, Harmonies and Mastery. This is the nonprofit’s 43rd season presenting shows at the Oaksmith Auditorium.

The forum says its goal is to offer an affordable concert series by a wide range of artists and to work alongside other community groups on the Outer Banks. Business sponsors and individual donors cover about a third of each season’s revenue, a cushion that helps keep ticket prices low.

Tickets and season details are available through the forum’s website, outerbanksforum.org.
